Pocketweb and university of Leeds start an EU program

Together with the university of Leeds in the United Kingdom and other partners from the Netherlands and Sweden, Pocketweb is starting a 3 year traffic technology program as the main developing party for the technological platform and mobile applications.

Main goal of this research program, that is funded by the EU,  is the decrease the usage of cars and vehicles powered by fossil fuels. To reach this goal, many concepts and solutions are developed for the industry, political parties, employers and other stakeholders. These concepts will then be tested in several european partner cities.

The main aspect of this project is to provide innovative concepts for mobility, based on apps and other technologies. The course of this project will be observed scientifically in order to gain crucial and valuable information about change in behavior to improve traffic demand management in cities.
